Known the world over for being the world’s largest meditation center, the Osho Commune International offers various ways for inner discovery and exploration. This fact is evident from the thousands of visitors who travel from the different corners of the world to seek solace and peace in the city of Pune at the Osho Commune.

The ashram or Commune initially was set over a 6 acre area spread over two properties. As the Osho movement gained prominence, the Commune also grew bigger in size. The Commune is now spread over 40 acres in the residential area of Koregaon Park and is filled with lush greenery and beautifully landscaped gardens. Marble pathways, elegant looking buildings, and a giant-sized swimming pool make it just the place to rejuvenate and refresh oneself.

While this place is located a few kms away from Pune railway station, international travelers can reach here from Mumbai or even the Pune airport which now has international flights too. While many Indian tourists visit the Commune as part of their trip, many foreigners are known to make a trip to India for the sole purpose of visiting the Osho commune.

The campus itself is very beautifully done and is a wonderful trip for any visitor whether initiated into the Osho way of living or a tourist on a trip around Pune. One cannot miss this major attraction in the Pune landscape.

The Commune offers a varied choice to the visitor. One may enroll at the Osho Multiversity and learn about different therapies and meditation techniques or one may sign up for the different meditation programs that are held over duration of one day to three months. If wants to do nothing, this can also be arranged for and all a person needs to do is relax and literally do nothing.

With easy access to the Osho Ashram, there are many residential societies in the vicinity where an international traveler can rent apartments for a couple of months during his stay in Pune. Most of these apartments are conveniently located with regard to shops, hospitals, hotels and restaurants and theatres. This area is well connected by roads.
